Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast

Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast is found in the Production Central portion of Universal Studios and took the place of the Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera.  When entering the waiting room, guests receive a briefing from Carl, Jimmy Neutron’s friend.  Here, guests have the opportunity to view Jimmy’s new invention – a Mark IV rocket.  A Universal Studios assistant places guests into certain rows during this briefing, the placement of which will determine where the guests are seated later during the ride.

While observing the new invention, guests discover that the evil egg-shaped Ooblar from Yokian is breaking onto the lab.  He then steals the new invention and plans to use it to take over the world.  In order to save the world, guests are asked to ride along with Jimmy in his Mark I rocket pod, which can be quite unpredictable at times.

Once loaded onto the ride, guests venture out with Jimmy and Carl, as well as Jimmy’s robotic pet dog Goddard, in a quest to capture Ooblar.  The wild ride takes guests through a variety of different cartoon worlds, including from “Hey Arnold,” “The Rugrats,” “Fairly Odd Parents,” and “Spongebob SquarePants.”

In addition to flying through these neighborhoods, Jimmy and guests also fly to the furthest reaches of space in order to reach planet Yokian.  Ooblar ultimately returns to Jimmy’s lab, where the final battle ensues. 

After the ride is over, guests exit into an interactive area complete with a gift shop where they can take advantage of a special photo opportunity with Spongebob Squarepants, characters from The Rugrats, and even with Jimmy Neutron.

Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast is a Universal Express ride, which can save guests time during a visit to the park.  In order to ride on the attraction, guests must be at least 40” tall.  Those that do not meet this requirement or that are disabled can enjoy the ride from the stationary location that is adjacent to the attraction.
