The Liberty Square Riverboat

The Liberty Square Riverboat, called Liberty Belle, is a replica of an old-fashioned paddle wheel riverboat.  Several times each day, this riverboat cruises through the Rivers of America and embarks on the half-mile route, which circles around Tom Sawyer Island.  It can be accessed from Liberty Square, across from the Hall of Presidents and next to the Haunted Mansion.

A ride on the Liberty Belle is not a thrill ride, but it offers a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of Magic Kingdom.  This 16 minute ride provides scenic tours and simulations of the Wild West occur along the banks of the river.  450 guests can be seated on the 3 deck boat at a time and it is wheelchair accessible, although there are also several standing room only areas.  In addition, the middle deck brings a welcome break from the sun while the top deck provides fantastic photo opportunities of the Haunted Mansion, Tom Sawyer Island, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
