Island Skipper Tour

The Island Skipper Tour provides guests with an easy and relaxing way to go from Jurassic Park to the Port of Entry. Guests can either start the trip from the far side of the Port of Entry or they can start from the mouth of Jurassic Park. Neither port has a covered waiting area, so it can get a little warm while waiting for the ride. In addition, it is not a round trip ride. But, you can take the boat back if you like.

Once aboard, guests sail past Toon Lagoon and Marvel Super Hero Island over the Great Inland Sea. There are a variety of vessels available with different names, including Tropic Trader, Boatney, and Samplane. Each vessel has a variety of interesting park trivia inside, which helps pass the time for those who may get bored by the long, slow ride.

This attraction is often closed. When it is open, the best time to ride is in the afternoon because early morning time is better spent on the more popular rides that fill up fast in the afternoon.
