Timbuktu
The kingdom of Timbuktu is located in the middle of the park. It is home to two roller coasters, the Scorpion and Cheetah Chase, as well as other thrill rides, such as Phoenix and Sandstorm. It also contains a variety of children’s rides, such as the Carousel Caravan, the Mini Train, Motorbikes, and Flyers. In addition, a variety of shows can be enjoyed here, including the 4-D Haunted Lighthouse production, American Beat, and Jammin’. Games of Skill and the Sultan’s Arcade also provide entertainment in Timbuktu.
Timbuktu offers great dining opportunities. The Dessert Grill is the largest dining facility in the bark and offers sandwiches, Italian food, salads, and drinks – including Anheuser-Busch beer. It is also a dining hall, with over one thousand seats, and it is where the Jammin’ show is performed. For a lighter snack, guests can visit Sahara Snacks or the Oasis, where they can grab chicken fingers, fresh fruit, french fries and homemade lemonade.
It is best to visit Timbuktu early in the day, when it is almost empty. This makes it possible to practically walk right on to the attractions. The area is generally quite crowded by around noon and has lines to the roller coasters.
