Stanleyville

Stanleyville used to be known as the water park area of Busch Gardens, but now it is also home to one of its biggest thrill ride attractions, the SheiKra roller coaster.  It also offers the Zambia Smokehouse, which is one of the best dining facilities in the park.  It offers baby back ribs and other barbeque items.  Two great water rides, Stanley Falls and Tanganyika Tidal Wave can also be found in Stanleyville.  A ride on the Skyride from Crown Colony will land guests in Stanleyville.

Those who enjoy shopping can stop off at Air Africa to by authentic African merchandise, such as clothing, brass, and other gifts.  The Stanleyville Bazaar specializes in Stanleyville memorabilia, while Tropical Wave provides tolls and t-shirts.  Stanleyville is often crowded because of its two water rides and SheiKra.  Therefore, it is best to get to this area first – particularly if a guest wants to ride SheiKra.
