Edge of Africa

At the Edge of Africa, guests take a safari trip through the African Pridelands filled with animals, African culture, and wide-open spaces.  This walkthrough exhibit usually begins at the hippo pool.  Here, guests can enjoy viewing thousands of fish, crocodiles, and, of course, hippos.  After visiting with the hippos, guests can stop off at the hyenas, then to the lions.  Here, a male and female lion live together.  The female can often be found on the back of a truck found within the cage.  Near the end of the trip, guests can view baboons, meerkats, a vulture, antelopes, and giraffes.
