The Magic Carpets of Aladdin

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, which is located in Adventureland, takes guests on a gentle flight over Agrabah.  With sixteen magic carpets, each of which seats four passengers, guests enjoy the views of the Magic Kingdom while soaring high in the sky.  The magic carpets, which is similar to the Dumbo ride, allows guests to fly around an enormous Genie lamp while controlling their carpet.  The front seat riders are capable of controlling the up and down motions of the carpet, while the back seat riders control the pitch of the carpet.  The queue area is also highly themed, with terra cotta tiles and embedded jewels.

 

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is not a thrill ride for older children, but young children find it quite enjoyable. Therefore, long lines do tend to form.  Wheelchair guests can ride on this attraction of capable of transferring from their chairs to the ride.
