The Hall of Presidents

The Hall of Presidents was opened in 1971, but new presidents are continually added as they are elected.

This historical show, which lasts approximately 23 minutes, emphasizes the importance of the Constitution and other important events in American History. This extremely patriotic show is narrated by Maya Angelou and incorporates life size audio-animatronic figures of each of the presidents of the United States.

The figures of the presidents use realistic gestures, such as fidgeting, nodding, and whispering. Abraham Lincoln and George W. Bush each of speaking parts in the show. The clothing worn by each of the presidents is authentic to the era in which he lived. Franklin D. Roosevelt even has braces on his legs and Hillary Clinton had say in how President Bill Clinton's character looked – even how his hair is combed!

700 guests can fit in the theater at one time, so lines shorten quickly after the doors are open. Younger children do not generally find the show to be very enjoyable, but the air conditioning of the theater can be a welcome break from the outside heat. Hearing disabled guests can request reflective captioning from a Cast Member at the entrance and Assistive Listening Devices are also available at Guest Services. In addition, the theater is accessible to wheelchairs.
