One Man's Dream

Walt Disney: One Man's Dream, which opened in October 2001, provides guests with a fascinating look into the life of Walt Disney. The attraction is located on Mickey Avenue and allows guests to take a tour at their own leisure.

The interactive tour begins at Disney's birthplace in Chicago and follows him through his life, including when his family moved to a Missouri farm where his love of animals was nourished. Throughout the various galleries, guests hear Disney in his own words and voices and he speaks about his past, as well as his vision for the future. At the end of the tour, they can enjoy a 15 minute film specially created for the attraction. Artifacts included on the tour are Disney toys, models of special Disney castles, props, Oscars awarded for feature films, cameras used in the filming of Disney movies, and even Walt Disney’s second grade school desk.

This attraction is accessible to guests in wheelchair/ECV devices. In addition, assistive listening devices are available to hearing impaired guests.
