One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish is set up somewhat like the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride found at the Magic Kingdom. But this ride has the added fun of water! As guests board their fish vehicle, they strap into their "For Marine Use Only" seatbelts. The object for the rider is to avoid getting squirted by water from the fish located around the ride.

To do avoid getting wet, the rider has to move his one of 12 vehicles up and down. In order to move the vehicle, a lever is located in the middle of the vehicle. Instructions for which way to move are sung into the soundtrack for the ride, so a rider who pays attention and follows the directions can avoid getting wet. Of course, you have to first realize if you are on a red fish, or a blue fish. You also need to know if you are on a single fish, or two fish vehicle. Riders who don't figure it out in time or who fail to follow the directions in the song will most certainly get wet! (As a side note, the water sprays are minimal and will dry off quickly).

While avoiding the squirts, the rider can reach a maximum of 15 feet in the air. The sculpture in the center is 18 feet tall. The design of this attraction makes it worth visiting even if there are no plans to actually ride it. The best time to ride this 2 minute ride is before 10:00 am. Guests under 48" must be accompanied by an adult. Guests in wheelchairs can stay in their wheelchair to enjoy the ride. The ride is not, however, recommended for guests who suffer from motion sickness.
