Liberty Square

Themed after colonial America, Liberty Square can be found across the bridge from Cinderella Castle, right between Fantasyland and Frontierland. Designed to replicate 1776 Americana, guests can take a trip back through Colonial-American history on the replica of the Liberty Belle steam-powered paddleboat, boarding near The Hall of Presidents. Journey through the Rivers of America and listen to the recorded narration delivered in the voice of iconic American author Mark Twain. The 17-minute trip is around Tom Sawyer Island; the Liberty Belle is a faithful reproduction of the highly ornate vessels that once ferried people and cargo up and down the Mississippi River. On your journey, take in sights such as the The Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, and the Liberty Tree, an actual 100-year-old oak.

The Liberty Tree Tavern offers a colonial dining experience, while favourite Disney characters such as Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale all dress in colonial style outfits and join in at mealtimes. The Columbia Harbor House and the Sleepy Hallow offer counter service and provide dishes such as fish and chips, chicken fingers, clam chowder, and vegetarian chilli. The Liberty Tree Tavern also offers à la carte lunches, including soups, entrees, and sandwiches.

Antiques shopping galore awaits guests of Liberty Square too. Vintage and retro lovers are in for a treat, with vintage tea sets, historical treasures, kitchenware and silverware are also available for purchase in stores such as The Yankee Trader, Heritage House, Olde World Antiques, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, and the Silversmith Shop.
