Just as you walk into Universal Studios, you'll find Production Central, a real working TV and film production studio. This is where fantasy meets reality, where films are prepared and the business of making movies takes place.
It's not all work, work, work though. There's plenty of fun to be had for both the young and young-at-heart. Join Shrek and his friends Donkey and Fiona on a honeymoon adventure, and create your own story from where the film left off. And there's more Shrek shenanigans at Donkey's Photo Finish, with the chance for a meet and greet, and more photo opportunities.
There's a whole cluster of soundstages here too. The Universal Music Plaza Stage is a recreation of the Hollywood Bowl, and provides a permanent stage for live concerts during the park's Mardi Gras, Rock the Universe, Summer Concert Series and Universal Holidays events. But for a more hair-raising experience, daredevils would perhaps like to try the Hollywood Rip, Ride Rockit roller coaster with its unique soundtrack and cameras that pick up every moment of the experience. You can even upload your video to the internet afterwards!
