What better way to end your day at Disney World than to take a walk on the BoardWalk? With more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs, it's a village on the water conveniently set beside many Disney Resort hotels in the resort. It's also very close to two Disney theme parks, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
Inspired by the 20th century board walks from the turn of the 20th century, the BoardWalk’s candy-coloured building facades, stripy awnings and arches are a nod back to this famous retro style made popular in coastal cities such as Coney Island, New York, and Atlantic City.
Take a stroll and explore the unique shops and restaurants, grab a bit to eat or just enjoy the view. And when the sun goes down, the nightlife starts up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and plenty of live entertainment.
